Release Date Speculation

While an official release date for Hazbin Hotel season 3 hasn't been announced yet, there are some educated predictions we can make. According to reports from Radio Times, the series has been renewed for two more seasons, with the third installment's recording already completed by the voice cast.

Considering that post-production for animated shows typically takes between 9-18 months, and taking into account the streaming service's scheduling, many fans are speculating that season 3 could drop on Prime Video around autumn/winter 2026. This would be a welcome relief for viewers who experienced an 18-month gap between seasons 1 and 2.

The Cast Returns

Thankfully, fans won't have to worry about any major cast shake-ups for season 3. The series will once again feature the talented voices that have brought the characters to life:

  • Erika Henningsen as Charlie Morningstar
  • Stephanie Beatriz as Vaggie
  • Keith David as Husk
  • Kimiko Glenn as Niffty
  • Alex Brightman as Sir Pentious
  • Blake Roman as Angel Dust
  • Amir Talai as Alastor
  • Christian Borle as Vox
  • Joel Perez as Valentino
  • Patrick Stump as Abel
  • Leslie Rodriguez Kritzer as Rosie

Most excitingly, Jeremy Jordan will be returning as Charlie's father, Lucifer Morningstar. His character made a significant impact in season 2, and fans are eager to see more of his complex relationship with Charlie.

What to Expect in Season 3

Creator Vivienne Medrano has been teasing some exciting developments for the upcoming season. In an interview with Polygon, she confirmed that season 3 will delve deeper into the soul ownership deal between Alastor and Rosie, which was a major plot point in season 2.

"The Rosie and Alastor deal is the first stepping stone in a much bigger story that involves so much, moving into season 3. Obviously, that is a perfect question: How is she that powerful? The answer could be many things, but the answer is in season 3. I'm very excited for people to see it." - Vivienne Medrano

Medrano has also revealed that season 3 will focus heavily on the Morningstar family dynamic, calling it "the Morningstar season." Viewers can expect more revelations about Lucifer and potentially more information about the mysterious Lilith, queen of Hell, who Medrano describes as "iconic" to the Hellaverse.

With the hotel's victory against Heaven's army in season 2, tensions are sure to be high in Hell. As resentment against Heaven brews and sinners realize they can fight back, the Vees (led by Vox) are likely to make their move to take over Heaven, placing themselves at the top of the hierarchy.

Live on Broadway

In the meantime, fans can enjoy Hazbin Hotel: Live on Broadway, which began streaming on Amazon Prime on November 17, 2025. The concert event, held at the Majestic Theatre, featured performances from the cast of the show's music from both seasons, with host Erika Henningsen leading the way.

The event included performances by Blake Roman, Amir Talai, Christian Borle, Jessica Vosk, Jeremy Jordan, and Krystina Alabado, with special appearances by Stephanie Beatriz, Kimiko Glenn, and creator Vivienne Medrano.

With production well underway and the creative team hard at work, Hazbin Hotel season 3 is shaping up to be another wild ride through the underworld. Whether you're a fan of the catchy musical numbers, complex character dynamics, or the stunning animation, there's something for everyone to look forward to in the next installment of this beloved series.
