Jeopardy Tonight: Postseason Schedule Revealed!
Jeopardy! fans, get ready for an action-packed end to the season! The iconic quiz show has just dropped its exciting postseason schedule, packed with tournaments featuring top champions and new hopefuls. Whether you're asking "jeopardy tonight?" or planning to watch the big events, here's everything you need to know about the Road to the 2026 Tournament of Champions, plus a look at Harrison Whitaker's recent streak.
The Current King: Harrison Whitaker's Streak Continues
As of November 20, 2025, Indiana native Harrison Whitaker continues his impressive run on Jeopardy!. The Terre Haute researcher secured his seventh consecutive victory on November 19, despite a rare stumble in Final Jeopardy! The category was "Movie Characters," with the clue: "The novelization of a 1977 movie awarded this character a medal at the end, righting a perceived wrong." Whitaker initially wrote "Chewbacca" but crossed it out for "Princess Leia." The correct answer was indeed "Chewbacca" (who gets a medal in the novel but not the film). While his Final Jeopardy! streak ended, his smart wager of $999 kept him comfortably in the lead, bringing his total winnings to $208,201. He'll play again soon against Blythe Roberson and Kara Brown.

Postseason Showdown: The Road to the Tournament of Champions
Executive producers Sarah Whitcomb-Foss and Michael Davies announced the full postseason lineup on the Inside Jeopardy! podcast. Here's the breakdown of the exciting tournaments:
Second Chance Tournament (December 15 - January 5)
This three-week tournament gives contestants who didn't secure enough wins during the regular season another shot. Players like Evan Argyle (data scientist), Guy Branum (comedian), and Rachael Gray (graduate student) will compete. The winner from each week advances to the Champions Wildcard.
Champions Wildcard (January 5 - January 18)
The winners from the Second Chance Tournament join a field featuring one-day and two-day champions, select three-day champs, and others still seeking a Tournament of Champions berth. Watch for names like Geoff Barnes, Cameron Berry, and Stella Trout to battle it out for the final spot in the ToC.
Tournament of Champions (January 19 onwards)
The marquee event! The ToC features the season's biggest game winners, including super-champion Scott Riccardi (16 wins), Laura Faddah (8 wins), Paolo Pasco (7 wins), and six-game champs like Liam Starnes and Josh Weikert. Plus, the winner of the Champions Wildcard and champions from Celebrity Jeopardy! (Lisa Ann Walter and W. Kamau Bell) will compete. Note: Current champion Harrison Whitaker won't be in the 2026 ToC as his run started too late, but he's already confirmed for the 2027 event!

More Excitement on the Horizon
Beyond the tournaments, Celebrity Jeopardy! All-Stars premieres February 27 on ABC (cast details TBD). Pop Culture Jeopardy! Season 2 is still in auditions, with interest from both celebrities and former champions.
